INCREASE IN THEFT FROM VEHICLES

Village Ward Safer Neighbourhood team advise that there has been an increase
in break ins to cars Precautions advised
1.Always lock car doors and windows.Even for a short time
2. Keep valuables out of the vehicle. Especially SATELLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEMS- EVEN IF YOU ARE CAREFUL ENOUGH TO REMOVE FROM THE SCREEN
EACH TIME- WIPE IT AS THE SUCTION PAD LEAVES A TELL TALE SIGN
3. Remove stereos and phones and LEAVE NOTHING IN YOUR GLOVE COMPARTMENT
4. Use anti-theft devices to secure your car.
