Leader of the Council - Cllr Steve Reed

Cllr Steve ReedCouncillor Steve Reed is the Leader of the Council. He oversees the work and direction of the council, making sure that local people get the services they require.
Responsibilities include: chairing the Cabinet; overall political responsibility for Lambeth Council, communications, partnerships and external relations including Lambeth First  - our Local Strategic Partnership.

Deputy Leader of the Council - Cllr Jackie Meldrum

Cllr Jackie MeldrumCouncillor Jackie Meldrum is the Deputy Leader of the Council and a board member of the ALMO which manages housing for Lambeth.
Responsibilities include: Deputy Chair of the Cabinet, performance management, service transformation, human resources and emergency planning.
