WINTER CELEBRATION

XMAS LIGHTS

Indeed    Brenda Jones   knew what she  was doing when she called it a Winter  Celebration.  It was a lovely occasion despite the continuous  heavy rain .  About 40 children  from  St Judes  assembled outside the station at 4.30where carols were sung  to the accompaniment  of a brass band

Along with    parents  and a few stalwarts we all went to the  new piazza outside the Pizza Shop and WiSH.
Tim Healey (WISH) kindly provided the changing  facilities for Rasta Santa  and his helper ( but don't let on it really was  Santa). Pizza  for all the children  drinks mulled wine  mince  pies  were  all laid  on.
The  lights were switched  on by DWL lighting on the dot of 6.
Many thanks to Brockwell Art Stationers, Pullens, Kindred Bakers the Pizza SHOP  and others who organised and provided the refreshments.
Traders and guests  repaired  to the  Hoot'nany for refreshments ( quite appropriate as it is St Andrew's day.
UMBRELLAS WERE  ORDER OF THE EVENING
