LIDO 70TH
Please try to be at Brockwell Lido at 7am on Tuesday 10th July. A swim will cost you only 70p! The press will be invited to record upwards of 70 swimmers swimming in the beautiful Lido at 7am on the 70th anniversary of its opening ceremony in 1937.
There will also be a chance to buy a copy of Out of the Blue, a book written in celebration of the Lido by Peter Bradley. Peter will be signing books at 9am and 2pm. There will also be cake cutting ceremony at those times.
The 70p swim goes on all day but please note that the pool will close early - at 5pm.
