LAMBETH LICENSING POLICY REVIEW
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS 24TH AUGUST
London Borough of Lambeth: our disclaimer is at the end of this e-mail.
***********************************************************************************
We have just commenced public consultation on the revision of the Lambeth Statement of Licensing Policy.
The revision has sought to make the policy more focussed to Lambeth, and to address the issues that have arisen since the first policy was published in January 2005.
The Statement of Licensing Policy is a document that sets out in broad terms the way in which the Council will deal with licensing matters. It is governed by constraints from within the Licensing Act and also the Guidance issued by the Secretary of State. The policy is not necessarily absolute and can be departed from if there are justifiable circumstances.
The revised policy can be viewed or downloaded from http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/Services/Business/LicencesStreetTrading/LicensingAct2003.htm
The closing date for responses is Friday 24th August, responses should be sent in writing to:-
