RECYCLING- ITS COMPULSORY
RECYCLING IN SOUTHWARK
Households across the borough have been visited recently reminding them of the responsibility to recycle.Its not an optional matter now and fines can be imposed of £75 where breaches occur.
Its a serious matter. Government targets require substantial and continuous
reduction in the tonnage of waste going to Landfill. ( presently 60,000 tons
to be reduced to 25,000 tons by 2019 )
