MAYORAL FUNDING FOR CYCLISTS
MORE FUNDING FOR BIKE INITIATIVES
Sent on behalf of Valerie Shawcross AM
Dear Resident,
Dear Resident,
Sustainable Transport Survey
Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone recently announced plans for huge investment in facilities for cyclists in London as it was revealed that more Londoners are taking to two wheels than ever before. The additional funding, via Transport for London will be used to provide more cycle parking spaces, improve cycle lanes and continue work on the London Cycle Network. I want to find out about your views on cycling as a sustainable form of transport in the capital, what would encourage you to take up cycling if you do not already, or what would make cycling more pleasant for you.
I would very much appreciate it if you could take five minutes to fill in my online survey at http://FreeOnlineSurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=k9l8owbpt0ilxqj312507
I shall be feeding the results of this survey back to the Mayor so that he and TfL can better direct their investment programme towards what Londoners really want in order to get on their bikes!

As an Assembly Member I'm able to submit one or two questions on behalf of local residents at the monthly Mayor's Question Time, providing they are relevant to the Mayor and are issues of concern to Londoners. If you have a suggestion such a question, please send it to me at the above email address.
Yours sincerely,
Valerie Shawcross

PS If you know of anyone else that would like to be included in my 'e-panel' please don't hesitate to forward them this email so they can take part.
