REGENT ROAD NEIGHBOURHOOD WATHC

REGENT ROAD NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH  INVITATION

Dear Herne Hill Forum,

We're starting up Neighbourhood watch in Regent Road, and thought it would be good to let members of the forum know in case anyone else is interested in starting up their own Neighbourhood watch.

This is the notice on our group, www.regentroad.org.uk :

The whole of Regent Road - and anyone else who's interested - is invited to a meeting at 7pm on Tuesday 5 June in the upstairs room of the Prince Regent Pub at the end of the road.
After several burgleries in the area we'd like to set up Neighbourhood Watch.
We've invited Sgt Tom Cornish from our local Herne Hill Safer Neighbourhoods team who'll introduce himself and say a few words about the area.
We'd also like to hear everyone else's ideas for Neighbourhood Watch.
We're not expecting it to be an intensive curtain twitching exercise with monthly meetings, but just a chance to get to know each other and keep a look out.
The meeting will finish in good time for the pub quiz at 8pm.

Perhaps you could publish this on your blog. Let us know if you've got any ideas or suggestions, we're already in contact with the long established group on Dorchester Drive.
kind regards
Kit Reynolds
