DUCKS FIRST COMMUNITIES LAST
BROCKWELL PARK PROPOSAL TO MOVE THE CHILDREN'S
PADDLING POOL.
when is an option not an option ???
when one of them is offered as a proposal unlikely to receive planning approval.
A further CONSULTATION took place on Saturday and was very well attended.
If you want to make a comment on the proposals contact Trevor Uprichard at Lambeth, the project officer tuprichard@lambeth.gov.uk.
There are two options only- one of which is viable- to move the pool and create a pool/ water feature by the present children's play area.
The alternative is to site it between the main pond and the houses in Brockwell Gate- the pros and cons were loaded against the scheme and largely subjective . The cons also stated that it is likely not to get planning approval.. so where is the option.?
COMMUNITIES FIRST? or is it ducks. The present paddling pool is to be demolished to make way for a wildlife pond and wetland area.
