Apart from the Lambeth Police update (Ch. Supt. Stewart Low) agenda items include a presentation on Virtual Courts (Ch. Insp. Sean Wilson) and a presentation on Policing the Transport System by the British Transport Police (Supt. Ellie Bird).
Virtual Courts are part of a National Pilot being carried out at
Camberwell Magistrates . Brixton Police Station is part of this experiment.
It provides for first time offendors over 21 to appear in court by way of a video link from the police station
Refreshments will be provided.
