HOW MUCH GREEN SPACE DO WE HAVE.

HOW MUCH GREEN SPACE DO WE HAVE IN HERNE HILL.

HOW MUCH OF BROCKWELL PARK IS NEEDED TO ENSURE A SAFE JUNCTION IMPROVEMENTS, NOT FORGETTING THE ENHANCEMENTS TO PEDESTRIAN SAFETY AND THE REDESIGN  OF THE PARK ENTRANCE.

The Herne Hill  ward for which statistics are available h three open spaces.
Brockwell Park  being the  biggest park in Lambeth  over 50 hectares the Milkwood and Ruskin Parks.

The Land Mass  of the ward is  202.7  hectares  and the percentage of open space in the ward is a whopping   31%. The borough proportion is about 6%( subject to confirmation)

So Brockwell Park  covers just over 25% of the ward's land mass.
The amount of land required for the  Junction project is .001%  of Brockwell Park
or the park.
