VEHICLE ACTIVATED SIGN ON HERNE HILL
VEHICLE ACTIVATED SIGN ON HERNE HILL
THE LONG-AWAITED AND CAMPAIGNED-FOR VEHICLE ACTIVATED SIGN HAS NOW BEEN INSTALLED ON THE ROAD CALLED HERNE HILL ON THE SOUTHWARK SIDE, BETWEEN HOLLINGBOURNE ROAD and RUSKIN WALK.
THIS SIGN WILL FLASH " SLOW DOWN" or "TOO FAST" AT ANY VEHICLE EXCEEDING THE 30 mph SPEED LIMIT.
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT AID TO ROAD SAFETY, CLOSE TO A DIFFICULT JUNCTION AND BEFORE A STEEP HILL. THE SIGN IS NOT YET "LIVE". OUR THANKS TO LAMBETH & SOUTHWARK COUNCILLORS FOR SUPPORTING OUR EFFORTS TO GET THIS SIGN INSTALLED.
