TRIANGLE PARKING

PARKING PROBLEMS IN HERNE HILLTRIANGLE
 
Following  the introduction of the latest CPZ  in the SOuthwark part of Herne Hill ( south of Herne the area north  bounded by Herne Hill Milkwood Road and Ferndene
has suffered major displacement in some sections. This alrady haappens in parts close to Loughborough Junction.
 
The foillowing  is a summary of the  present position on future plans to look at the problems.

The Herne Hill triangle ? all the area from Ferndene down to Milkwood, including Rollscourt, will be consulted about a CPZ in the latter part of this year. Judging by Southwark some streets will vote ?for? some ?against?.  I can?t imagine streets like Dorchester Drive and Brantwood Road , for example, have parking problems. The Southwark model across the road is 12 noon to 2 pm only Mon-Fri and works very well ? you have some displacement from there at present: .
