A local resident has sent the following reponse to Lambeth's Freshview
exercise.

How fascinating, especially the last line..
But I find myself having to ask the question - Who could ever possibly have judged Lambeth as the third cleanest borough in London?
Most of the surfaces of central Brixton are still fragranced with eau d' urinal, thanks to Cleanaway, whilst the head of L.B.Lambeth's Environmental Services insisted to me in person that the idea of " Cleansing" is pedantic!! Although they can on occassion be forced to recognise their lawful contractual obligations specify "Cleanse", this seems to have been paraphrased to " Spray with water" rather than the dictionary translation of " To make thoroughly clean"
Heaven forbid anyone should object to trudging freshly spewed crack-cokaine fueled urine into their homes via the soles of their footwear. Just so long as we are told it's clean - who could possibly object? ""
