STREET WARDENS
COMMUNITY WARDENS- LAMBETH
Lambeth council have called a hault to a further roll out of community wardens in the Stockwell area. This was part of a borough wide programme started under the previous administratioon. When the choice
was between wardens or more commmunity support officers for the police.
Lambeth had rushed into the project appointing an agency to tun and recruit and there were big questions makrs of the efficiency of staff
recruitment and training.
