Arts and Leisure.
LEISURE AND ARTS NEW HEAD
Andrew Ormston is taking over from David Lawrence as head of Leisure and Arts. That includes parks by the way. We understand that Andrew has an arts backgrounds has been until recently working for local government in Birmingham. Lets hope that arts will benefit from a higher focus.
David Lawrence has already strated a review of Parks management with a view to implementing one of the new administration's management pledges
by devolving parks management to local trusts.
