Re: ref Cell Site No GLN3219

I am concerned about the plan to erect three panel antennas on 36 Southwell Road. There are at least eleven residents who are actively engaged in opposing this plan. Jim Dickson, Labour Councillor in Herne Hill Ward has been approached also.

This site is of historical and architectural interest, having apparently been built to house and paint theatrical backdrops by the impresario Fred Karno, who worked with Charlie Chaplin.

Loughborough Junction is an area which is undergoing a much needed process of regeneration. Erecting mobile phone antennas (there is at least one other within half a mile of this) appears to be a backward step.

Has group compensation been considered if residents incur a drop in their property value because of the antenna?

Please would you (a) issue me with a photograph or measurements which show clearly the size of the panels and (b) clarify the outcome of any meeting with residents.
