NEW GREEN COUNCILLOR FOR HERNE HILL REBECCA THACKRAY........
...................is going to push for more recycling and green energy " Lots of people in Herne Hill ward are keen for this. " She will also get the council to adopt policies to encourage more composting. She is also keen to support local shops and listen to community views on regeneration of Herne Hill. " People dont want more superstores but there is worry that Sainsburys is buying up part of Herne Hill ( possibly the post office sorting office and more)
She also want to help people to " think global act local eg walk to work, use less packaging."
Its been recently stated that 80% of pupils attending the private schools in Dulwich arrive by car.
