LAMBETH'S Sports, Clubs and Centres new management arrangements from October 2006 are FUSION BIDDING

We are committed to the provision and development of sport and recreation. There are four leisure centres and a community sports centre in the borough, and facilities in our parks and green spaces. We also run a healthy lifestyles programme.
New management for Lambeth's leisure centres
The contract to run Lambeth’s leisure centres is currently being re-tendered.
This is an opportunity for interested parties to run our leisure centres for the next ten years with an option of extending this to 15 years if the multi-million pound contract is well managed.
The successful bidder will be responsible for managing all Lambeth’s leisure facilities and services in Brixton, Streatham, Clapham, Flaxman and Ferndale.
Following a period of negotiation between Lambeth Council and the preferred bidders during July and August, the successful Leisure Management Contractor will be awarded in October - November 2006.
The new contractor is expected to take over operating the services from December 2006.
