BIG INCREASE IN OFF PEAK TRAVEL FARES FROM HERNE HILL

New Bedford to Brighton rail provider First Capital Connect plans to ban cheap day return ticket holders from travelling home from London between 4.30 and 7pm and will result in massive fare rises listed below and lead to restricted use by off peak travellers. It is anticipates that the number of passengers travelling at peak times would be reduced by around 12 per cent.
