37 bus southbound still diverted Herne Hill to North Dulwich Station.
The 37 southbound only (direction Peckham) diversion caused by roadworks at the junction of Half Moon Lane and Village Way was due to end on Monday 6th March. Throughout today, 7th March, buses continued to operate off-route over this sector, with passengers boarding/alighting outside Herne Hill Sorting Office and then travelling non-stop via Red Post Hill to North Dulwich station.
We shall advise via the blogspot as soon as this diversion ceases .
42 bus -- no final decision yet
The long-running saga of the 42 bus is some way from being resolved. Favoured option is the Spurling Road (Goose Green) terminus point, following the news that Sainsbury's cannot accommodate the turn-round.
Meanwhile the service continues to add passengers, is remarkably reliable and at weekends has double decker operation on some services.
