MUSIC EVENT BROCKWELL PARK 10-12TH JUNE
The Brockwell Park MAC sent a representative to a meeting with the event organisers and Lambeth Parks.
We were shown the proposed site area to be enclosed . It is much smaller and less intrusive than previously and appears to be a sensitive proposal.
Other issues covered included noise monitoring,adequate toileting clean up, vehicle entry points ( Lido only) , tree protection, crowd control arrangements esp at points of exit on closure, policing especially after event outside park.
And lastly establishment of event review on a daily basis to allow for adjustment to operating procedures for the following days.
we had been advised that the Borough's Evironmental Quality Officer ( previously Grime Busters had reported flyposting for the event both in Lambeth and Wandsworth.
This was raised however officers were satisfied that it was not an issue and that reported sightings had been on paid advertising sites.
