LONDON'S OLDEST TREES

Clive James, chair of BTVC came to Brockwell Park where one of the oaks is reckoned to be one of London's great trees. The tree has been estimated at 600 years old andforms partof an old field boundary.
Derek Austen, tree expert has an alternative view that it could be the fusion of two trees.
although he said that was a matter of conjecture.
