FIVE PARKS WALK- A GREAT SUCCESS
About 250 people turned up in Brockwell Park on Sunday to do the Five Parks Walk
and idea of Andy Walker to help raise funds for the Park's Lottery bid. The event raised £1,000 which in turned could raise extra match funding from the Lottery or help towards the many other non-allowable costs.
The walk was launched by Irene Kimm Mayor of Lambeth, one of her last events as Daphne Marchant becomes the new Mayor on 25th May.
Clr Marietta Chrichton Stuart supported the event by dpoing the entire walk.
We were pleased to see Val Shawcross and her husband supporting the event.
