POST OFFFICE MOVES FROM HERNE HILL.
The PO are planning to move to CostCutters in Norwood Road from end of September.
Mr Patel the propietors will be carrying out a major refit of the shop to cater for this.
There are lots of pluses in this move especially ease of access to the shop.
This will help regenerate that parade.At present Olly's Fish Restaurant owner Mr Harry Nazim is extending into the adjacent unit. At we understand Steve's Cafe plan to do the same thing.
The one draw back is the bus stop as there is a Southbound stop but no North bound opposite.
However with the implementation of the Junction improvements it is planned to install a bus stop to help with
this and further regeneration of the parade.
