ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS
Southwark Tree officer has pl;ace hanging baskets in Half Moon Lane Herne Hill and Norwood Road.
Shopkeeepers are delighted with this and Dave Taylor manager of the Street Leader scheme visited Hh last week and met with Yvonne Levy and Katherine Holmes anc Clr Michelle Pearce.
A lot of graffiti was noted and action has alrday takern place.
There is now a protocal for dealing with Network Rail property ( bridges etc).
Dave and Michelle promised to pursue the repairs to pavement under the HH brudge and see if a bid coulkd be made for a safety railing at this point. Adam Shipley proprietor of Cafe Prov was keen on this proposal.
