HERNE HILL JUNCTION

One step further forward..... This week the Copuncil Executive approved the spending programmes for next year. Included in the funding bid to TFL under the Bus Priority Programme was £300K for the HH Junction and £100K the following year. Decisions on this will be made by TFL if October and then the Councils programme will be revised on the basis of funding awarded. The TFL bid is for £7.5m. lasy year it was £10.25 with £3.5 awarded. So the relentless campaign must be kep up.
The HH junction is first priority with a group of 3. There are 18 different categories under the Transport heading ranginbg from Walking schemes to bridge repairs.
The Herne Hill CPZ tro include Camberwell III is in at 225K and 75K the following year Peter OConnell has been sponoring this for some while and his support for the scheme is included in the report..
