HERNE HILL ROAD JUNCTION
At the meeting on Wednesday 30th April Councillor Clare Whelan announced that the Council will be including the junction improvements in the next funding bid to Transport for London . This is excellent progress and thanks to every quarter from DAVID WHYTE, who has lead on this for a long time to the expanded team a.
Councillors Ashley Lumsden and Andrew Sawden have played a key role in getting us to this stage. As we know all ,ocal groupssupport the wider scheme including altaeration to the boundary of Brockwell park along with the improvements that will result to the entrance to the park. This will be a multi agency projects icnluding planning and conservations officers on the issue ofthe loss of Metropolitan Open Land( MOL) so there areseveral hurdles to get over.
