CANNABIS UPDATE
I have spoken with Shane Collins the event organiser. He made several post event inspections and I met I him on the Tuesday prior to his meeting woith Lee Hills Parks Officer. The toilets didnt turn up as the lorry brining them broke down and the breakdown lorry brought back to the depot and there was nothing in place either with the supplier or the event organiser to arrange a remedy. I still maintain that Lambeth Parks Events officer needs to ensure that there are failsafe measures in place. Without going into details your toilets need to be there a couple of days before hand. I will be taking issue with the procedures in place to manage the waste disposal during the event. The NOISE levels are also an issue and the management of this. Shane assure that he engaged a environmental helath officer to monitor this and was measuring and taking action. Unfortunatley the Council's officer engaged to do this did not show ( sick as per South London Press Friday 16th ( see the great cartoon) page 16. CANNABIS' s own post mortem agreed that there were too many sound stages and that these will be reduced for future events. more on this above.
